Tailormade...
We provide floral designs tailor made just for you, for any celebration...
Flowers are with us at the most beautiful and happy times and also at the most challenging times in our lives. They are an important part of a celebration whether that be a joyous wedding, a simple thank you or a sad farewell to a loved one. But we truly believe the magic of flowers does make us feel better both physically and mentally.
Flowers are our passion and we want as many people as possible to enjoy what we do whatever the celebration.
This Is Our Passion
Creating unique designs from bouquets to installations which reflect the way flowers grow in their natural environment.
What is important to us?
Unique
Nature is the best thing in the world with flowers and foliage playing a huge part in making this so. We are constantly over whelmed by the elements, colours, scent, detail, texture and movement of flowers, particularly in their natural habitat and our approach to design tries to emulate the way in which the elements grow in their original environment.
This gives our designs a slightly wild and free look which we think enhances both the character and charm of each variety of flower allowing them to shine, which provides a very different look for the admirer and one which we think evokes different emotions and feelings than many alternatives on the market.
Seasonal
We are inspired by the coming and going of seasons and the impact this has on nature, plants and flowers. We love the way in which flowers bloom at differing times of the year and under differing conditions, and the way a new favourite appears just as your current one is coming to the end of its performance.
Whilst we try our utmost to meet individual personal requests we do believe that we get the most beautiful and best flowers when nature intends, which is how they come and go across the seasons. To this end, we do try to primarily utilise flowers in season, so unless specific requests dictate otherwise, seasonal blooms will usually make up a proportion of our designs which ensures you get the best and most beautiful.
Sustainable
We think it is vitally important that we all make whatever small changes we can to help protect our environment, and whilst we do not to profess to be an expert in this field we do commit to trying to make the right decisions in producing our products and services in a way which is considerate.
As such, we follow many small environmental rules in our studio including no use of floral foam (Oasis) as this is toxic to our health, no use of single use plastic, and no use of chemicals. We also try to source flowers which have been grown without the use of chemicals. We are also a keen supporter of using British and locally grown flowers, which both supports independent UK businesses and reduces the carbon footprint in comparison to using mass produced and imported alternatives.
Did you know?
Over £2 billion pounds is spent on flowers in the UK in any one year. A significant proportion of this is spent on mass produced flowers which are imported from other countries despite the UK having a climate which produces absolutely stunning flowers for almost 9 months of the year.
An estimated 90% of the flowers sold through florists, supermarkets and wholesalers are imported not just from Holland but flown in from growers as far afield as Ecuador, Colombia, Kenya and even Ethiopia….. leaving a heavy carbon footprint.

A little bit of history....
The Water Tower
Built in 1890 by Canon Rawstorne the tower was built on the site of an old well which served earlier generations of cottages in the area. It was built as a temporary measure to alleviate the water shortages in Penwortham and combat the contamination which was prominent in the 2 or 3 wells used by Penwortham residents up until that point. The tower was used as a reservoir to supply the immediate vicinity of Penwortham. It is 5 storeys high and is built in red brick with many design features reminiscent of a Victorian Folly.
